The New England Fishery Management Council is scheduling a public meeting of its Scientific and Statistical Committee on November 19, 2012 to consider actions affecting New England fisheries in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ). Recommendations from this group will be brought to the full Council for formal consideration and action, if appropriate.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) will meet to consider control rule alternatives for Atlantic sea herring, planning and tasks for 2013 including participation in a Risk Policy Workshop planned for March 2013 and any issues related to SSC procedures. Other business may be discussed.
